Spotlight · WebRTC + Video KYC

The moat most CPaaS abandoned.

Most messaging-first CPaaS never built real video, and the big players treat it as a side product. We doubled down because the workloads that matter (KYC, telehealth, virtual classrooms, government services) demand a production video stack: SFU, jitter buffer, encoder ladder, TURN relays, and OCR and liveness modules layered on top.

  • True WebRTC: DTLS-SRTP encryption, adaptive bitrate, no plug-ins, no proprietary clients.
  • Video KYC packaged on top: liveness detection, ID OCR, recorded audit trail under RBI / IRDAI V-CIP.
  • HIPAA-grade posture for telehealth. BAAs available. Geography-aware routing keeps PHI in region.
  • 1,000-participant interactive rooms; HLS / RTMP for view-only broadcast at scale.
  • On-premise deployment for sovereign data centres: the option Twilio, Daily, and Agora do not offer.
Low-code Video Builder

Ship video without building the UI

The Video Builder gives you a hosted, brandable video-call experience on top of the Video API. Pick a template, set your branding, and embed it in web or mobile — no video UI to write. The full-code path via APIs and SDKs stays open: start low-code, switch to full API control anytime.

Templates

Start from a template

Pre-built templates for virtual classrooms, telehealth, meetings, and webinars — or build from scratch. A three-step wizard puts your app live on your own subdomain, no SDK integration needed.

Branding

Make it yours

A visual builder controls layout, toolbar, logo, and colours. Override features per session with URL query parameters — no redeploy, no code change.

Embed

Embed in web or mobile

Drop the IFRAME snippet into any HTTPS page, or load the join URL in Android, iOS, React Native, or Flutter webviews. Role-based links for moderators, participants, and HLS viewers.

Control

Wire it to your app

The embed talks to your page over postMessage: join, leave, and recording events in; actions like start streaming out. Create rooms and manage sessions with the same Video API.

Why EnableX Video API vs Twilio, Daily, or Agora

Three things the other Video API players cannot match.

01

Full-stack: Video + Voice + Messaging

One platform, one bill. Daily and Agora are video-only; at Twilio, video is one product among many. EnableX runs Video alongside Voice, SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, and Conversational AI.

02

On-prem & hybrid video

Deployed inside a bank's DMZ or a hospital's private cloud, the Video API is on-prem-installable in a way most competitors flat-out don't offer. That's what makes it viable for sovereign-DC deployments, RBI / IRDAI V-CIP, and HIPAA-grade health workloads.

03

Packaged Video KYC

The V-CIP workflow ships as a productised flow, with liveness, ID OCR, and audit-grade recording bundled in. Indian banks and insurers go live in weeks, not quarters.

Video Call API FAQs

A Video API is a set of developer tools (SDKs, REST endpoints, and WebRTC media servers) that lets you embed live video calling, recording, and streaming into your website, mobile app, or platform without building the media stack from scratch. The EnableX Video Call API ships SDKs for web, iOS, Android, and React Native, media servers for one-to-one and group calls, server-side recording, RTMP/HLS streaming, and the enterprise controls regulated industries need.

WebRTC is the open real-time communications standard browsers and mobile apps use to stream audio, video, and data peer-to-peer with sub-second latency. Every modern Video API, including EnableX, is built on WebRTC. Because WebRTC runs inside the browser and native SDKs directly, you don't need plug-ins, installers, or proprietary clients.

You install an EnableX SDK, request a room token from your backend, and pass it to the client SDK. The SDK handles media negotiation, encryption, and bandwidth adaptation automatically. EnableX media servers handle multi-party routing and optional recording, and the API emits webhook events for join, leave, and disconnect. Developers typically get a working proof-of-concept in under a day.

Native SDKs for web (JavaScript), iOS (Swift / Objective-C), Android (Kotlin / Java), and React Native, with low-code embed snippets for teams that don't want to touch WebRTC plumbing. Server-side, any language that can make REST calls (Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, .NET, Go) can mint tokens and subscribe to webhooks.

Yes. The Video Call API is built on WebRTC with end-to-end encryption and is designed to meet HIPAA and GDPR posture requirements. EnableX signs Business Associate Agreements for healthcare deployments and supports geography-aware media routing so patient data stays in the required region. On-premise and hybrid deployment are available for stricter requirements.

Yes. EnableX supports server-side recording with options for individual-stream recording, composite (single-file) recording, and watermarking for branded playback. Recordings are stored on EnableX or delivered to your S3-compatible storage via signed URLs.

One-to-one calls, small group calls, and large multi-party sessions up to broadcast scale. Interactive multi-party sessions typically run up to 1,000 active video participants; view-only broadcasts scale much higher via RTMP / HLS streaming. Enterprise plans include custom scaling.

Daily and Agora are video-only; Twilio sells video as one product among many. EnableX is one of the few full-stack CPaaS platforms that ships Video alongside Voice, SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, and Conversational AI. EnableX also offers on-premise and hybrid deployment for regulated buyers (banks, healthcare, government), an option Twilio, Daily, and Agora do not offer. For APAC and Middle East buyers, EnableX is typically the stronger choice.

Yes. The low-code Video Builder is a hosted video application that runs on your own subdomain. Choose a template (or build from scratch), set layout and branding in a visual builder, and embed the join URL in any HTTPS page via IFRAME or in mobile webviews — no SDK integration required. You can still create rooms via the Video API and switch to full API and SDK control at any time.

Yes. The EnableX Video KYC solution is built on the Video Call API, with liveness detection and recording for audit trails. It is built for remote customer onboarding in Indian banking, NBFC, and insurance under the RBI / IRDAI V-CIP framework. Video KYC is a packaged solution on top of the API: adopt the full solution or build a custom KYC flow using the API directly.
